The Lawyers Admission Committee held a meeting this morning, headed by HE Mr. Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri, Minister of Justice, at its permanent headquarters in the Ministry of Justice building.
The Committee considered the topics on its agenda, including:
First: Three lawyers taking the legal oath before the Committee, and accepting the requests of a number of lawyers under training.
Second: Considering applications for the registration of new lawyers of similar works, and applications for transferring the registration of lawyers to the schedule of practicing lawyers.
Third: Forming a sub-committee for complaints in order to activate the mechanisms for deciding on complaints and grievances received by the department.
In addition, the Committee reviewed a number of regulatory topics for the legal profession, and the files presented for discussion, and the appropriate decisions were taken regarding them.
